This impactful social housing scheme based in Lambeth breaks new ground on multiple fronts. A unique affordable scheme which was grafted within an existing council housing estate, provided 89 council owned units, including much needed family houses. The site sits between three existing tower blocks and through careful design optimises the full potential of the site, without creating overlooking issues.

Anodised aluminium fins create a cohesive design aesthetic across the entire site, whilst carefully curated public and private landscaping binds the individual blocks together into a community. Allotments, child play space, double the standard cycle provision and a central heat and power station ensure that this new community is well equipped for the future.

Our intention from the very beginning was deliver a standard of house far superior to the nearby privately owned housing schemes. In addition, the re-provision of the Ethelred Nursery school at its heart.
