Ellie Hardman-Cheer, Architect
Ellie, a newly qualified architect with a wealth of experience, has contributed to a diverse range of projects in her architectural journey. From residential master-planning, to the luxury commercial refurbishment of Grade II listed buildings, Ellie's varied workload across the RIBA stages has provided her with a solid foundation of knowledge.
As one of the first members of DMBA, Ellie has shouldered high levels of responsibility in her projects, gaining exposure to all aspects of project management. From meticulous curation of documents and presentations, to engaging in 1-on-1 design meetings with clients and contractors, she possesses finely tuned skills in creative design, detailed coordination, and strong communication; essential for the successful delivery of high-quality design on site.
"I see heritage buildings as the key puzzle pieces of today's built environment. By understanding, enhancing and celebrating these historic structures, we can extend a building's lifespan, reducing the need for new infrastructure and beginning to address current and future sustainability issues within the industry."
